Charles Kirby is a proud graduate of Princeton High School, Syracuse University and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.  He has been working in theater and film since sixth grade when his choir teacher,                       Mr. Parella, taught him to coil sound cable.  Recently he is looking for work, as always.  What are you up to?

Our Story

Charles is an Art Director and Film Teacher.  At NYU in the late 90s it was all but impossible to keep directors and designers versed in the theater, to jump in to filmmaking, so Charles jumped too.  After grad school he had the opportunity to build a film program in secondary school.  He also had the opportunity to design a few commercial feature films while he developed a curriculum of academic projects.  Some of that work is shown on this site as well has been seen at student festivals and as well as a few professional ones.
